Hentzen’s newest manufacturing facility increases production capacity, provides operational redundancy, and supports growing demand for powder and liquid coatings across the Southeast. At 48,000 square feet, the building site has been rapidly transformed over the past year and will be in full production by July 2026.

The powder coating manufacturing expansion will utilize the same efficient equipment and processes that have been perfected in our Faulkner Road powder facility in Milwaukee, WI. These redundant manufacturing operations will ensure that our customers’ need for on-time deliveries will not be affected by unplanned downtime, weather events, or shipping delays.

The Greenville, SC powder operation will commence with a few lines and ramp up as demand increases. This will enable Hentzen to grow its powder business in the Southeast and continue to serve existing customers in the region faster. Both the Milwaukee and Greenville powder facilities will be aligned to optimize performance for our customers.

Automation is at the core of the facility to ensure repeatable quality, minimize cost, and safeguard team members. High-bay, narrow aisle racking is accessed by wire-guided swing-reach trucks—the same systems currently in use at our Batavia IL and Milwaukee WI facilities. This increased liquid storage capability will enable reconfiguration and growth of the existing Greenville liquid manufacturing lines. All liquid facility enhancements are focused on improving manufacturing and filling operations, and streamlining production line workflow.

With an eye on the future, the building design and site property have been prepared to accommodate expansions that will eventually double the facility footprint.
