Since being awarded the Army-Navy Production Award
on December 16, 1943, as well as the Army Ordnance Flag on March 30, 1944, for excellence
in production during World War II, Hentzen has been the industry leader in military
coatings technology. In 1991Hentzen received the prestigious Certificate of Recognition
from the United States Army Materiel Command for its cooperation and timely production
efforts in supporting Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm with its
Zenthane®; and
related products.
Hentzen coatings have been tested, approved and utilized by all of
the major defense contractors and their subcontractors in a variety of different applications
such as tactical vehicles, weapons and missile systems.
