Durazen™ Epoxy Powder Coatings can be used in decorative applications not subject to UV radiation.

Primary Characteristics
Epoxy Powder Coatings are used primarily as functional coatings for substrate protection where inherent toughness, hardness, corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, flexibility and adhesion are required. Epoxy Powder Coatings are commonly used as a primer for improved corrosion resistance.

Typical Applications
Pipe coatings, under-hood automotive, electrical equipment, motors, hospital equipment, high voltage switch gear, PC boards and battery cases.

Overview
Durazen™ Hybrid Powder Coatings share many characteristics with standard epoxy-based powder coatings, but include improved resistance to over-bake yellowing during cure, somewhat softer films and slightly improved weatherability.

Primary Characteristics
Epoxy Polyester Hybrid Powder Coatings offer good chemical resistance properties, good corrosion resistance properties and poor UV exposure properties. Hybrid Powder Coatings are not considered suitable for exterior applications, even though their deterioration and discoloration when exposed to sunlight is slower than pure epoxies.

Shelving, hot water heaters, office furniture, power tools, fire extinguishers and oil filters.

Overview
Durazen™ Polyurethane Powder Coatings combine very smooth, exceptional thin film capabilities, with excellent mar and chip resistance and good weathering properties.

Primary Characteristics
Adhesion to properly pretreated substrates will provide very durable coatings with long-term resistance to humidity, UV resistance and corrosion. Polyurethane Powder Coatings can be formulated to offer excellent chemical resistance properties.

Typical Applications
Fluorescent light fixtures, lawn and garden equipment, agriculture equipment, electrical enclosures, playground equipment, air conditioners, automotive trim and patio furniture.

Overview
Durazen™ Polyester Powder Coatings have good chemical resistance, offer excellent UV resistance and good corrosion resistance. Polyester powder coatings typically exhibit good edge coverage and generally exhibit slightly more orange peel than Urethane powder coatings.

Primary Characteristics
Durazen™ Polyester Powder Coatings maintain excellent mechanical properties at film build of 2 mils to 3 mils or above.

Typical Applications
Aluminum exrusions, automotive wheels, pole and pad-mounted transformers, air conditioners, point-of-purchase displays, fencing, gas cylinders, lawn and garden equipment, appliances, electrical enclosurers, agricultre equipment and lawn furniture.

Durazen™ High Heat Powder Coatings are designed to withstand temperatures up to 1,000 degrees.

Durazen™ Metallic Powder Coatings are protective finishes intended for decorative metal finishing applications.

Primary Characteristics
Metallic finishes are highly aesthetic, having a luster and brilliance that set them apart from other Powder Coatings. Durazen™ Metallic Powder Coatings can be applied with a single applicaiton and topcoated with a Clear Powder Coating for improved performance.

Typical Applications
Appliances, office furniture, shelving, displays and exercise equipment.

Overview
Durazen™ Acrylic Powder Coatings offer very good weathering and chemical resistance.

Primary Characteristics
Acrylics offer very good smoothness at low film builds but flexibility and impact are typically lower than polyesters.

Plumbing fixtures, automotive wheels, vending machines, aluminum extrusions, microwave cavities and automotive trim.
