Aqua-Zen™

Overview
Aqua-Zen™ is a broad series of water-borne primer and topcoat systems which utilize the latest in water base resin technology as an alternative to most solvent-borne coatings.

Primary Characteristics
Aqua-Zen™ is available in a number of resin systems including one-component alkyd and acrylics, two-component epoxy primers and topcoats, and two-component urethane primers and topcoats. They can be utilized on a wide variety of metal, wood and plastic substrates in the industrial and defense industries.

Typical Applications
Engines and related components, cookware, millwork, electrical equipment, aluminum boats and a wide variety of plastic components. Aqua-Zen™ epoxy primer MIL-DTL-53030C is used as the primer component of the CARC painting system on military vehicles and support equipment.

Overview
Aqua Ura-Zen™ is a series of two-component water reducible polyurethane coatings systems formulated for a wide variety of defense and commercial aircraft applications.

Primary Characteristics
Aqua Ura-Zen™ coatings provide a low VOC, are less flammable and offer an alternative to traditional solvent-based urethane coatings. Available in a variety of colors, Aqua Ura-Zen™ MIL-DTL-64159 is available in standard camouflage colors and can be formulated in other Federal Standards 595C colors for specific applications.

Typical Applications
Defense vehicles, hardware, ground support equipment and components, transportation, agriculture and construction equipment, power transformers, liquid storage tanks and recreation vehicles.
