U.S. Army Supplier Recognition (October 27 2010)

Hentzen Coatings is the largest supplier of engineered paint products to the U.S. Army, and its products have been specified to protect high-profile military technology such as the Stealth Fighter Program. Hentzen has received the Army-Navy Production Award, the Army Ordnance Award and the Army Material Command Recognition Award. During Desert Shield/Desert Storm in 1991, Hentzen engineered and produced a unique coating that enabled positive friend/foe identification to reduce friendly-fire casualties.

Hentzen Coatings Receives SBIR Award (October 26 2010)

Hentzen Coatings, Inc. has been chosen to research and develop a multifunctional aircraft protective coating for the United States Air Forceunder SBIR 05.1 Topic AF-133, Proposal F051-133-3538. The Air Force SBIR Program is a mission-oriented program that integrates the needs and requirements of the Air Force through R&D topics that have military and commercial potential.

Presented a Certificate of Appreciation by the United Space Alliance to recognize the employees of Hentzen Coatings for their dedication in developing and supplying innovative liquid coatings to meet various Space program requirements.

Presented Award of Appreciation from Pentagon Renovation Program (September 02 2002)

Hentzen provides floor coating and receives Award of Appreciation at Pentagon building dedication as part of the Hy-Safe Technology efforts on September 11, 2002.

Recognized by Northrup Grumman Corporation for its outstanding contribution to the development of the Advanced Topcoat System (ATS) program and successfully extending the aerospace coating “state of the art.”

Operation Desert Storm and the Gulf War (January 01 1991)

Recognized by the United States Army Material Command for outstanding service during Operation Desert Storm and the Gulf War.

CARC Topcoat for the Army (February 14 1983)

Hentzen develops the first single-component urethane CARC topcoat for the Army(all previous urethane topcoats were two-component) and specification was written based on Hentzen's product. Other "firsts" as well in military coatings arena.
